WebMay 12, 2011 · Given that a low level mage seems to start with mana in the 15-20 range, and that a mana cost of 3 seems typical for most offensive or defensive magic, I'd expect a mage to have no moe than five spells in him (depending on the need for healing and the use of expensive spells like Rock Armour) before he's fully tapped out.
