Meetings The club meets in the Scout Hall, George Miller Reserve, 140 Steels Creek Road, Yarra Glen 3755 on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month except December, when we only meet on the Second Tuesday, and January, where we only meet on the Fourth Tuesday. WebDuring the Christmas period of 1966, a group of members from the Mountain and District Radio Group (a local civil defence amateur organization) decided that the Eastern area badly needed a local Amateur Radio Club to give an opportunity for amateurs and SWLs with a mutual interest in the art of radio to get together and have regular meetings.
