I do a lot of driving and regularly fill up my tank until I see the gas sitting in the filler neck. Nothing leaks out and I just pop the cap back on and go. WebAug 17, 2024 · Overfilled gas tank. Then remove the air filter. Then with no choke and full throttle see if it will try to start. It may take a number of pulls. If it tries to start but dies go to half choke and full throttle. It should take off and run.
